Learn some basic embroidery stitches to embellish a denim outer shell, of a lined and insulated ‘Can Koozie’

Students can select from four hat styles, gnome, wizard, bucket or loopy sauna. The practice of wearing a hat in the sauna insulates and protects your head.

Students will weave a simple band to understand how the loom works. The second part of class will be spent designing your own band pattern and weaving it.

Learn about the materials used for weaving, types of looms and weave a short simple band with a rigid heddle. Students will then design their own band pattern and construct a rigid heddle to take home.
