Sew Your Own Bike Bag

Bike bags are a great way to bring things along for longer rides, errands, and bike packing! In this class, you'll learn to create either a full or partial frame bag customized to your bike. This class is recommended for folks who have a comfortability with a sewing machine. Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machines, or use on of the models provided by the Ely Folk School. Please bring your bike to class for a perfect bike bag fit! Students should plan to leave bikes outside until needed, but a custom fit to your bike is necessary for class, so please do bring it with! Registration closes Thursday, July 17th at 1:00 PM.

About your instructor: Ozzie Reif is passionate about working with his hands and teaching outdoor skills. He first fell in love with the Northwoods working as a canoe guide, and he has since learned that winters up north can be equally as loveable. Ozzie has found that sewing is a great way to help people connect with their gear and the environment.
