Learn about the materials used for weaving, types of looms and weave a short simple band with a rigid heddle. Students will then design their own band pattern and construct a rigid heddle to take home.

Students will weave a simple band to understand how the loom works. The second part of class will be spent designing your own band pattern and weaving it.
