he class will encompass everything from paddle strokes and maneuvers to basic navigation and how it relates to the paddler.  (Spoiler alert! Almost all of these skills are transferrable to canoeing!) 

Students will create and complete their own small pine needle basket using pine needles.

We will cover the 'Safe Six' edibles and discuss ways to preserve and use them.
