Blue Luster Necklace

The focal piece in this simple necklace has been enhanced with a luster coating that adds a deep shiny color that is fun to wear for a variety of occasions.

Students will combine their focal stone with a variety of glass and stone beads to create a necklace that is unique to their own taste.

This class is appropriate for beginner as well as experienced bead crafters. Students will learn about closures, and cords that work best for various beading projects. Students will be able to complete one project in the time available for the class.

 

About the Instructor: Kay Vandervort retired to Ely in 2014 and years has become involved in the community. She participates in American Association of University Women, works part time at the Dorothy Molter Museum, and is involved in book club, writing group, and a number of local discussion groups. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of craft media.
