What kind of colors live outside our windows? In this series of seasonal classes, we will explore the natural world and its potential uses for twines, paints, and dyes. We will learn about ethical seasonal foraging practices. Back at EFS, participants will learn a variety of techniques to process and utilize the materials for wildcrafting.  Depending on availability of materials during each growing season, techniques covered may include extracting pigment from rocks and plants, making inks and dyes, making marking tools, printing, making fiber cordage and rope.

Please dress for the weather, wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in, and bring a notebook.
