Festive Holiday Door Decoration

Utilize natural materials and greenery to make a welcoming holiday door decoration. Use your creativity to bundle different materials into something that is pleasing and customized to your own tastes. Bring the Northwoods to your front door! Students will be encouraged to add their personal touches to their decoration (and likely get their hands sappy) as they work with pine and balsam boughs. The instructor will provide basic materials including greenery, wire, pine cones, and red ribbon, although students are welcome to bring additional materials to add, such as their own ribbons, beads, and lights).

About your instructor: LynnAnne Vesper has a long-standing interest in Scandinavian languages and cultures going back to 1984. She speaks Swedish fluently. She has been helping people enjoy the natural world for over 20 years as a guide for canoe and dogsledding trips in the Boundary Waters.
Note: Be aware we may cancel class if a minimum number of registrations is not reached. We work to balance teachers’ need to plan for a class with students’ busy schedules — not an easy task. Please register as early as possible!
