The beloved Swedish holiday of Saint Lucia is celebrated in December and is the perfect way to bring warmth and cheer to the final month of the year. Join in the tradition by making, baking, and eating the appealing "Saint Lucia roll". Instructor LynnAnne Vesper will guide students through the baking process using a traditional recipe (in Swedish). Together, the class will put together a batch of dough, roll it out, and explore how to create several of the traditional shapes. Students will go home with 3-5 Saint Lucia rolls of their own creation. Caution: you may learn a few words of Swedish during this class. Students who enroll in this class are encouraged to return in the evening for the " Swedish Holiday Traditions and Saint Lucia Choir" free of charge, where more Saint Lucia Rolls will be available for snacking!
