This class has seven sessions over eight weeks.
Are you eager to expand your throwing skills or dive deeper into the world of clay?
In this eight-week, seven session class, you'll learn new techniques and new tools to broaden your knowledge base. Lids, shaping, and decor are all things that may be covered. Refine your throwing techniques and take your pottery to the next level with further instructed time. All skill levels welcome; this class is open for folks with some experience that feel they still need some support and instruction as well as people who are new to throwing on a wheel. Students will receive a bag of clay with class registration. Finished work will have a small firing cost.

Notebook and writing utensil if they like to take notes, clothes that can get dirty, hair tie if necessary |

About the Instructor: Wade Pharr is the Ely Folk School Ceramics Studio Coordinator! He has been throwing clay in the Ely area for years. You may recognize his work via Pharr Thrown Studios at Front Porch Coffee and Tea. He believes in the power of practice and is eager to help folks explore functional art via ceramics.
Note: Be aware we may cancel class if a minimum number of registrations is not reached. We work to balance teachers’ need to plan for a class with students’ busy schedules — not an easy task. Please register as early as possible!
