2025 Ely Folk School Winter Bonfire! (LOCATION CHANGE!)

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO CURRENT WEATHER FORECASTS AND PREDICTED EXTREME LOW TEMPERATURES, WE ARE MOVING THIS YEAR'S BONFIRE FROM SEMER'S PARK TO THE ELY FOLK SCHOOL. WE WILL STILL HAVE A FIRE IN OUR POCKET PARK, BUT ALSO HAVE A WARM INDOOR SPACE TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE. DUE TO THE LOCATION CHANGE WE WILL HAVE NOT HAVE DOG SLEDDING (BUT WILL HAVE SLED DOGS TO SNUGGLE!) OR A HOT TENT THIS YEAR. THANK YOU FOR YOU UNDERSTANDING!

Our fifth annual Winter Bonfire! All are invited to this free, kickoff to winter gathering. We'll have snacks, refreshments, games, a hot tent, and dogsled rides! Individuals and families are encouraged to join in the potluck fun, or just bundle up and enjoy the cozy winter atmosphere. Additionally, interested volunteers can help make sweet apple handpies as part of our Makers Morning the Thursday preceeding the bonfire on Thursday, December 11th between 9:30am and noon.
