Students will learn how to make creamy chocolate centers for home made truffles as well as the most effective ways to coat those chocolates. Students will also learn appropriate chocolates to use and how to flavor those candies. The two main ingredients are chocolate and heavy cream. The name "truffle" comes from their resemblance to the mushroom-life fungus that is a delicacy.

In addition to sampling during the class, each student will leave the class with an assortment of a half dozen truffles.
