September Barn Dance

7:00 - 9:30 PM
Located at Ethel's Acres; 2231 Robich Road, Ely, MN 55731 (caravan and carpool options available from Ely Folk School at 6:45pm and 9:45pm)
$10 at the door, youth dance free (cash or check preferred)

As the leaves begin to turn and the air gets crisp, we're celebrating the season with live music, traditional dancing, and the joyful gathering of friends, neighbors, and community! All dances are taught live, so people of all ages and skill levels can participate.  Attendees called the dances “an absolute blast”, “a great community event”, “so much fun”, and “awesome”. Another commented, “I’m so happy we have amazing events like this in Ely!!” Someone else said, “This event brings all areas of the community together and bridges the gap between all ages.” 

This will be the second community dance held at Ethel's Acres, making it a proper "barn" dance! Located about 10 minutes west of town, folks are encouraged to carpool or meet there directly. Follow signs to get to the barn and for where to park! Shuttle service will be provided for anyone who would like--simply meet at the Ely Folk School by 6:45pm that day for a ride (and a return trip at 9:45pm.)

Please also consider joining us for the Old Time Strings Jam Session (at the Ely Folk School from 4-5pm) before the dance!
