Nature Writing for Women: Honoring Autumn (In Person)
Description
Saturday, October 18th, 2025
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Tuition: $52, Materials: $3
As autumn’s colorful landscapes peak, we pause to appreciate and embrace the season to come. Set aside a day to discover the richness of your inner harvest through nature writing. In a supportive group circle, generate written pieces through reading, discussion and free-flow, nature-writing exercises. The class will focus primarily on the early stages of the writing process and include time to reflect on our work and share. Please bring some writing by a favorite author that you especially like. Students are encouraged to bring a notebook and writing utensil, as well as a bag lunch and full water bottle.
During the month of October, our facilities will be under construction as our kitchen is renovated. For this reason, the class will be meeting at a new (and fun!) location on White Iron Lake, just ten minutes east of town off the Kawishiwi Trail.
