EFS 10th Birthday: Community Barn Dance

$10 at the door, youth dance free

Celebrate the Ely Folk School's 10th birthday with a community dance! All dances are taught live, so people of all ages and skill levels can participate. 

Attendees called the dances “an absolute blast”, “a great community event”, “so much fun”, and “awesome”. Another commented, “I’m so happy we have amazing events like this in Ely!!” Someone else said, “This event brings all areas of the community together and bridges the gap between all ages.” 

This special community dance event celebrates the Ely Folk School's 10th Birthday. This contra dance will be extra special as it will take place at "Ethel's Acres" -- the barn of one of the Ely Folk School's board members, Rosa Oesttereich. Located about 10 minutes west of town, folks are encouraged to carpool or meet there directly. Follow signs to get to the barn and for where to park! Shuttle service will be provided for anyone who would like--simply meet at the Ely Folk School by 5:45pm that day for a ride!
