Sourdough Scones and Loaf

Come join in making gut friendly scones and a beautiful loaf of sourdough bread. You will learn how to shape, score, and bake a loaf of bread. Your instructor will prepare a loaf for you to bake the next morning (it needs time to rise overnight). While the bread is rising for its rounds of stretch a folds you will start making sourdough scones, with an option to make either cinnamon apple, chocolate chip, or fresh Ely blueberries. After picking your choice we will start making the dough and shaping them to bake. You will leave with delicious fresh baked sourdough scones of your flavor and a prepped sourdough loaf of bread to bake the next morning.
About your instructor: Shirley Horsman moved up to Northern Minnesdota 4 years ago and started a few new hobbies as well as a small business--baking became her happy place. Shirley started Maribel (her sourdough starter) a little over a year ago; she’s strong and makes many different recipes for her family.
