Nature Writing for Women: The Season of Rebirth
Description
Saturday, April 12th, 2025
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Tuition: $52
Of all seasons, spring is the one that honors life’s regenerating power. Set aside a day at the Ely Folk School on the edge of the Boundary Waters Wilderness to spur your imagination and awaken creativity from winter slumber. To celebrate the strong bond between women and the natural world, you will generate written pieces in a supportive group circle through reading, discussion, contemplation and free-flowing writing exercises. This class will focus primarily on the early stages of the writing process and include time to reflect on and share our work. Please bring some writing by a favorite author that you especially like. We will take a break and enjoy lunch together at a local venue.
