Animal Tracking in the Snow

This class focuses on being outdoors and practicing how to read the stories told by tracks in the snow. We meet at the Ely Chamber of Commerce parking lot and travel to a nearby destination to look for and study all the tracks we can find. Bring your curiosity, sense of wonder, and dress warmly!

About your instructor: Steve Engel has earned a Level III in Track & Sign Identification with the Certified Wildlife Trackers Association (CWTA). He has been studying and collecting tracks from Alaska to Antarctica since 1981.
