Embroider your own shoes or boots, blouse, tote bag, pillow case, or project of choice. Make just a plain pair of tennis shoes into a work of art. You can make them for yourself or a friend or great for granddaughters. You just need a few things and some imagination. Choose your project and I will supply you with the embroidery stitches and help with designs and color layout on your project.   Just think of the great Christmas Gifts you could make for family & friends ~ hand made by you.

A sheet with basic embroidery stitches you will most likely use in creating your design will be supplied.

Embroider Shoes or Boots: bring soft sided shoes or boots with fabric insert ~ curved needle ~DMC Floss of your color choice

Embroider a blouse: Amazon has great Chambray blouses or one out of your closet ~ straight needle and DMC Floss in the colors of your choi, If the fabric is light weight you msy need an embroidery hoop..

Tote bag: Any fabric bag you want to embellish: Bring bag of your choice, a straight needle and DMC Floss in the colors of your choice

Or a set of Pillow cases: Chose your size and color~ you may need an embroidery hoop, a straight needle and DMC Floss of your color choosing.

About the instructor: Candace Bischoff started her crafting at the age of five when her mother taught her how to knit. Her grandmother introduced her to the sewing machine when she was eight, and she sewed clothing for herself, friends, and acquaintances through high school and college. Candace says, "I love to craft and have tried most media including needlepoint, embroidery cross-stich, knitting, crocheting, beading, macrame, weaving, quilting, drawing with pencil, ink, and colorizing some sketches, I am in the process of teaching my 11-year old granddaughter how to knit--a challenge!" Candace looks forward to sharing her many skills and short cuts with folk school students.
