Nature Writing for Women: As Winter Comes (Zoom Session)

During the season of reflection, receive winter’s gift of inner nourishment through nature writing. Set aside a Saturday morning to celebrate the strong bond between women and the natural world. You will generate written pieces through reading, discussion and free-flowing writing exercises. We will focus primarily on the early stages of the writing process within a supportive group circle.
About your instructor: DyAnne Korda’s work has been published in several journals including The Wisconsin Academy Review, ArtWord Quarterly, and Agates. Her poetry has also been broadcast on KAXE Radio's morning show, and their literary programs Wordish and Stay Human. Her latest book is The Shore’s Absolute Edge. Along with offering frequent workshops for Ely Folk School, she's taught for the Center of Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
