Come join me in making a pine needle hair piece using all natural pine needles locally sourced off our property in Embarrass Mn, harvested by yours truly. Your choice of color in waxed thread and make a hair stick and fancy or and simple as you’d like. By the end of this class you’d be able to wear it home.
*Participants should bring pliers for the needle (if can’t pull though with fingers)
About the Instructor Shirly Horsman: I’m originally from California, my tribe comes from Santa Rosa California, Dry Creek Rancheria band of Pomo Indians. I started beading and weaving when my grandfather past away due to no one else in my family wanting to learn the skill so I asked my uncle to teach me what he knows. We started FaceTiming and he started teaching me. I picked up pine needle weaving on my own with using the natural materials around me.
