Sgraffito (Italian for "to scratch") is the art of carving paint off your pottery to form beautiful designs. Are you confident in your pottery and ready to expand your design technique? Join Wade and the Ely Folk School for this hands-on workshop. Wade will go explore this method with you, and then you'll have plenty of time to experiment and try it on your own.

About the Instructor: Wade Pharr is the Ely Folk School Ceramics Studio Coordinator! He has been throwing clay in the Ely area for years. You may recognize his work from around town! He believes in the power of practice and is eager to help folks explore functional art via ceramics.
