If you have the ability to hold a pen, you have the potential to become a woodburner. All it takes is a little patience.

Join our class and immerse yourself in the cozy campfire-esque aroma as you learn the art of woodburning through hands-on experience.

During this class, you will have the opportunity to create your own art piece to take home with you. You will be provided with woodburning pens and tips to use, as well as various pieces of wood for practice and for your final creation.

Note: it is not required for you to know how to draw. Students will select pre-chosen artwork that will be carbon copied on the wood pieces before burning art onto the wood. Adults (beginners) -- students just need to be able to hold a writing utensil; Adults only recommended for safety reasons.

The material fee includes the use of a woodburning pen and tips, along with a range of other tools necessary for the class. These tools include two 4” practice wood pieces, a 4” natural wood slice for your final piece, transfer paper, printed artwork, pens, scissors, tape, and heat-resistant gloves.

About the Instructor: Kelly Cramer, a relatively new Elyite, is excited to be teaching woodburning. Although she has only been practicing this craft for a little over a year, Kelly has developed a strong passion for woodburning and eagerly looks forward to helping others learn and enjoy this wonderful craft.

Apart from woodburning, Kelly is also skilled in creating macrame pieces and capturing macro nature photographs. Additionally, she has authored numerous motivational and meditation books and has organized workshops and day retreats to guide individuals in developing personal empowerment and emphasizing the importance of self-care.
