Not Your Mother's Necklace

This class is for individuals who want to have some fun using unconventional objects in necklace design, No previous beading experience is needed. Just bring whatever bits of odd items or broken jewelry you want to (small pieces of driftwood or metal as an example) or work from a variety of materials that will be available in class, to create a necklace that is uniquely yours.

Recommended for ages 15 and up. No experience needed. All needed materials will be provided, however, students may bring additional items if they choose to.

About the Instructor: Kay Vandervort retired to Ely in 2014 and years has become involved in the community. She participates in American Association of University Women, works part time at the Dorothy Molter Museum, and is involved in book club, writing group, and a number of local discussion groups. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of craft media.
