*This is the virtual class offering. This class available both in person and live-online.*

Standard Tuition: $30

In this class we will look at the way our ancestors used the wisdom of nature to understand human health. The elements of fire, air, water, earth, and the effects of cold, dampness, and wind among others will be defined relative to their effect on each of our organ systems - liver, heart, pancreas, kidney, lung, etc. You will learn how each of your organ systems expresses itself in the manner of your well being or not-so-well being. These principles used to be common knowledge and they were used to direct human activity toward health and away from disease.

This class is intended for all ages 10 and up, any skill level.

Herbalism classes taught through the Ely Folk School are led by instructors who have sought out training or education about herbal medicine and are not intended to replace care from medical professionals.
