We have 10 available spots for this week's program for youth ages 7-12. Registration for this week will open on April 1 and registration is required to reserve your child's space. Walk-ins on Saturday morning will not be accepted.

Each week we will offer a unique creative project. These will be accessible to the wide range of youth attendees and will range from sewing, cooking, and creative with natural elements. There will be space for kids to explore and socialize outside of their homes and classrooms.

Youth will be able to take each week’s project at their own pace and will be given the freedom to express their creativity through any of our resources.

This program is suitable for kids between the ages of 7 and 12.

New this year: Participants need to register for each individual class. Please register in advance to ensure your child(ren) has a spot in the program!

About the Instructur: Jen Toddie lives with her family on a wooded homestead in Ely and delights in the magic of making with children! Working with kids from ages 3-18, she has been an educator for 30 years. She has taught middle and high school social studies, social and emotional wellness, yoga, reading, writing, preschool, and Elementary Montessori. What excites her the most is witnessing the joy kids experience when they experiment with their creative spirits, whether it be through handwork, cooking in the mud kitchen, growing a garden, storytelling, spending uninterrupted time in nature, building relationships, or creating crafts that connect them more deeply to themselves, the natural world and their community. Jen loves wilderness travel, practicing reiki and making herbal medicine. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share wonder with your children this summer at the Ely Folk School!
