Tuition: $48  Materials: $15

Utilizing a variety of beads and accent pieces such as buttons, feathers, flowers, focal beads or clay pieces, students will create a necklace unique to their particular style and sense of design. This is a fun class because the process of beading used to create the pendant feels a lot like mindful relaxation. Students will be able to select from a variety of kits, but also exchange beads within the kits to ensure the finished product is something they can claim as their own vision. The pendant at the bottom of the necklace is typically about 2 inches across, but can be smaller or larger depending on preferences.
Once the technique is learned, it can be applied to other types of projects such as creating beaded collars or pockets to add to clothing.
